The Local Organising Committee (LOC) recently convened at the university campus, marking the beginning of preparations for this prestigious international championship.

The meeting was convened by Prof. Nandkumar Gilke, Registrar, Somaiya Vidyavihar University, and brought together members from various functional areas to align efforts and establish a clear roadmap for the successful delivery of the championship.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Aazaz Khan, Director, Somaiya Sports Academy, spoke about Mr. Samir Somaiya’s longstanding passion for squash and his vision of making sports accessible to all.
