Entry and Visa
To participate in the FISU World University Championship Squash, each delegation must comply with the entry regulations of the host country, India.

All participants and officials requiring a visa to enter the host country must follow the official process outlined the National authorities.

Invitation Letters
To support visa applications, the Organising Committee will issue official invitation letters to registered participants. To obtain these letters:
- Submit the required passport information and personal details of your delegation members (by 1st June 2026).
- If final team selection is pending, a long list of all potential athletes and officials may be submitted to avoid delays.
Late requests may not be processed in time. Please respect the indicated deadline provided in the event’s invitation letter or website.
Who Needs a Visa?
Visa requirements vary depending on the nationality of the applicant. It is the responsibility of each delegation to verify the current regulations through the embassy or consulate of the host country in their respective country.
Points to Remember
- Make sure passports are valid for at least six months beyond the expected date of departure.
- Incomplete or inaccurate information may delay the issuance of invitation letters or the visa process.
- FISU and the Organising Committee cannot guarantee the issuance of visas; it remains at the discretion of the host country’s immigration authorities.
Entry Point
Official Entry Points
To facilitate the arrival of all participants, the OC has designated the following entry points:
- AIRPORT: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) is Mumbai’s primary airport and the closest to Somaiya Vidyavihar University. The university is located approximately 6 km (about 20–25 minutes) from the airport.
- TRAIN: Mumbai’s extensive suburban railway network connects the entire city. The nearest station to the university is Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, located just a 5-minute walk from the campus.
- BUS: Mumbai has a well-connected BEST bus network and Mumbai Metro services. Several buses stop near Somaiya Vidyavihar (bus stop: Vidyavihar (E) will provide even faster city access.
Upon arrival, a welcome desk or volunteers with event signage will be present to greet delegations and provide assistance.
Participants Travel plans
Delegation travel details should be submitted in advance through the FISU Global Management System (GMS), through the Arrivals & Departures Module, latest 1 month before the Championship (indicate by 2nd July 2026) to allow the OC to organise timely and efficient transfers to the accommodation sites.
Please note:
- Transfers will be arranged by the OC from (31st July 2026 for arrivals and 10th August 2026 for departures).
- Separate or grouped transfers may be arranged depending on the size of the delegation and arrival schedules.
- If after the submission of the travel plan through the GMS or during the trip there is any incidence, delay or change, please communicate to the OC as soon as possible (provide OC contact info for travel incidences and changes – contact person, email and phone number).
If travelling by other means (e.g., private car), the OC will provide details about arrival procedures and parking options where applicable.
